The Nelligan is larger than it looks, comprising two historic
100-year-old buildings that house two restaurants, two bars and a
rooftop patio that shouldn’t be missed. Named after Emile Nelligan, the
half Irish, half Quebecois poet whose work was first published when he
was age 16, the hotel has a literary vibe found in the deep, cushioned
chairs, exposed brick walls and quick views of the nearby Saint Lawrence
River.
